The very dark, below feeling of the exhibition was in stark contrast to the bright corridors of the building that housed it. However, the displays behind glass cases were amply lit and added to the ambience of viewing.
Buttons and trays of them, whole display cases. From glass, ceramic, wooden and ivory there was painted, carved, sewn, embelished and dyed ones.
